Spanish Playtime
Home of the Muévete (Move It) CD!

During our years of teaching kids Spanish, we combed bookstores, surfed the Internet, and traveled overseas looking for new teaching materials that made learning fun.  Because so few resources met our expectations, we created Muévete: Learn Spanish Through Song and Music, a music CD full of catchy tunes that encourages kids to clap, jump, laugh and best of all, learn!  Soon parents and teachers began requesting copies, and now we sell on Amazon, i-tunes and CD Baby.

Muévete includes translated classic songs such as Itsy Bitsy Spider, Hokey Pokey, Wheels on the Bus, If You’re Happy and You Know It, Where is Thumbkin?, This Is The Way We Wash Our Hands, and Itsy Bitsy Spiker.  It also includes new songs about animals, parts of the body, and everyday routines, all designed to get children moving while they are learning Spanish.

The songs help teachers in the classroom with:
specific tasks such as clean up, sitting down, lining up, and washing hands;
learning vocabulary like parts of the body, left and right, and animals;
or playing games such as freeze frame and musical chairs.

The CD includes a booklet with the lyrics in Spanish, and English translations.
